Airsan Type DD Filter Element
Airsan Type DD filters are heavy-duty, cleanable filters designed for engines, compressors, and industrial applications.
The Type DD is made with galvanized steel frame and polyester media sandwiched between two pieces of galvanized steel screen cloth. Expanded metal face pieces on the front and back prevent the media from shifting. The Type DD is also available in bronze, stainless steel, monel and aluminum. Type DD filters are available in 2" and 4" nominal thickness. Type DD filters can be custom fabricated to any rectangular dimension. Type DD filters can also be fabricated into cylindrical dimensions with metal end caps, but are limited to size. Please contact factory regarding Type DD filters in cylindrical arrangements.
Type DD filters can be cleaned by removing any excess dirt and washing the air filter with warm water and detergent. Allow the filter to dry before placing it back in service. No recharging with filter adhesive is necessary, as the Type DD polyester media is used dry.

Airsan Type KK Filter Element
Airsan Type KK filters are highly efficient permanent air filters designed to protect ventilated equipment. These filters offer low initial resistance, large dust-holding capacity and are easily cleanable with detergent and warm water. Because they are used dry, no adhesive is required. They are not affected by changes in temperature or climatic conditions.
These filters are constructed of polyester media sandwiched between two pieces of screen cloth in a sturdy metal frame, with expanded metal on both faces to protect the media. Type KK filters can be manufactured in any rectangular size required in thicknesses of 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", 7/8", 1" and 1 7/8". Custom designed filters can be provided to meet specific requirements.
Type KK filters' pleated configuration maximizes use of the open area. The custom KK filters' CFM capacity can be increased by adding pleats. These additional pleats result in a lower initial resistance and lengthen the service interval.
Type
KK filters are available in Aluminum (KKAA), Stainless Steel (KKSS), Bronze (KKBB),
Monel (KKMM) and Galvanized Steel (KK). Aluminum type KKAA may be plated to specifications
when required.
AIRSAN type KK filters are ideally suited to the small quantity air filter user.
Type KK filters are readily interchangeable with presently installed disposable filters.
These permanent filters can be serviced, generally in less time than ordering, receiving,
stocking and replacing disposable filters.
