Airsan Type W Filter Element
Airsan Type W filters are designed for industrial air handling equipment used in heating, cooling, and ventilating applications with a velocity range of 300-700 fpm. Type W filters are also ideal for demisting applications and can be applied either at the air intake or in the air stream after coils.
Type W filters are available in either 2" or 4" nominal thickness and fabricated with galvanized steel frame and media. Other materials are available for specialized applications including bronze, stainless steel, monel and aluminum.
The patented Viro-Crimped media is constructed of horizontal layers of wire screen cloth. This format provides a large filtering area with no direct air passages through the filter media. The media edges are hemmed to diminish the danger of cuts and scratches. Reinforcing rods are centered through the filter to prevent any media shifting.
Type W filters can be cleaned by soaking in hot water and detergent. After rinsing, allow the filter to dry and then recharge by applying 1 1/2 to 2 oz. per filter of Film-Cor Adhesive. Excess adhesive should be allowed to drain off before reinstalling the filter.

Airsan Type AF filters are highly efficient all-metal air filters designed for a wide range of industrial, commercial and residential medium-duty applications.
These filters offer low initial resistance, high dust-holding capacity and low rate of increase in static pressure. These qualities provide long lasting dependable performance of these permanent, washable filters.
Type AF filter is easily cleanable with hot water and detergent or with commercial solvent, and recharged with AIRSAN Film-Cor Adhesive or any good grade of light oil.
These filters are constructed of multiple layers of specially arranged crimped electro-galvanized wire cloth protected on both sides by galvanized expanded metal and assembled in sturdy 24 gauge galvanized steel frames.
Type AF air filters are available in standard rectangular sized in 1" and 2" nominal widths. Special sizes can be made to order. AF filters are also available in aluminum (AFAA), bronze (AFBB) , or stainless steel (AFSS) to meet the needs of special applications

Airsan Type V filters are highly efficient all-metal air filters designed specifically to protect ventilated electronic and electrical cabinetized equipment. These filters offer low initial resistance, large dust-holding capacity and are easily cleanable with any commercial solvent Type V filters are recharged with AIRSAN Film-Cor Adhesive. All viscous impingement (oil-wetted) type air filters require the use of adhesive for maximum efficiency and dust-holding capacity. The all metal construction withstands vibration and shock. Media cannot settle or change density and efficiency remains constant. They are not affected by changes in temperature or climatic conditions. RF shielding can be provided. These filters meet Mil. Spec. F-F300B.
Filter media is a viscous impingement type, consisting of multiple layers of crimped and flat screen cloth arranged for maximum dust holding capacity. AIRSAN offers media depth consistent with the thickness of the frame. This design allows maximum contact area, which increases filter performance.
Type V filters can be manufactured in any rectangular size required in thicknesses of 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", 7/8", and 1". To determine size of filter, use a factor of 2 CFM per sq. in. of filter area. Custom designed filters can be provided to meet your specific requirements. Type V filters are available in aluminum (VAA), stainless steel (VSS), bronze (VBB), monel (VMM) and galvanized steel (V). Aluminum type VAA may be plated to specifications when required. AIRSAN filters are also available with dry media (Type KK) which requires no adhesive.
