Viro-Crimped Media
Our patented Viro-Crimped media is constructed of horizontal wire screen cloth to provide a large filtering area while eliminating direct air passages through the filter media. Media edges are hemmed for worker safety, and reinforcing rods are centered through the filter to prevent media shifting for consistent structural integrity.

What Is a High Velocity Furnace Filter?
A high velocity furnace filter is a metal air filter engineered to capture dust while air moves through it at high face velocity — far faster than a standard residential furnace filter. Airsan Type W filters use viscous-impingement media to trap particles at these velocities without choking airflow, which is why they are used in turbines, power plants, and industrial furnaces rather than disposable panels.
Viscous impingement (shielded) Type W: the Type W is rated up to 700 CFM and is built for heating, cooling, ventilation, and demisting in demanding environments. Full media, frame, and sizing specifications are available on request.
