Problem:
A manufacturer in the steel industry was having issues with the longevity of their secondary and final filters. The current primary filter used in the system was not effectively collecting the high concentration of oil mist. This caused them to change out the more costly secondary and final filters frequently.
Solution:
Airsan reviewed the specifications and design constraints. It was decided that a custom 6″ moil and mist eliminating AFD filter was the best fit. To adjust for the high concentration of oil, additional media packs were added to the design. This filter efficiently removed oil and the lifespan of secondary and final filters increased.
