The Airsan Acoustiturn is constructed of foil-shaped, 14-gauge aluminum extrusions insulated with fire-resistant fiberglass media and protected by perforated facings. Acoustiturns measure 6 3/8” across the chord with mounting rails that can be overlapped on the nail centers to produce any length you require. Built from durable 24-gauge galvanized steel with location holes on 3-3⁄4” centers, the sections are fastened with supplied hardware.
Installation costs for Acoustiturn vanes are generally lower than for ordinary double-faced vanes because we use fewer vanes with fewer pieces to cut and assemble. For custom order requirements, we can cut to your exact specification.
Testing on the Acoustiturn proves that resistance is much lower than that of ordinary 3” double-faced vanes while maintaining superior laminar flow characteristics.
